I did...and...I will...

Another grading period had passed and another lessons I have learned. The basic HTML and how does World Wide Web works? And I’ve discovered the different tags to use in making a document more presentable and colorful.
For more than two months of this grading period I have learned a lot even if sometimes or most of the time I cannot attend my class because of so many activities. I did my posts and activities for this grading period but this last few days I did not attend my classes because of practicing for the intramural and other official businesses so his was the reason why posted this composition late and some of my activities was not yet done.
I am so afraid of my grade. I know it is my fault but how I wish Ma’am Vera Cruz will give and some of my classmates another chance. And if Ma’am will grant me I will be thankful and I will promise to her that I will not do the same thing again. I will pass all my requirements on time and tried to cope up everything I’ve missed in her class.
This failure I made will be my bridge to be a better student. And I will sore more high grades so that I can grant the wish of my mother. I will strive more and study hard. Yes I will.

My Teacher, My Super Hero..!

They say, teachers are said to be the second mother and father of the students. They mold students to be a better citizen. They enrich students mind and guide them whatever they do inside and outside the campus. Just like our adviser in SSG, Mrs. Editha T.Giron, my second mother.
For more than three years that I have been an officer of the umbrella organization of our school, the Supreme Student Government she is always there to guide me. She taught me how to be a good leade4r that leadership is not a position it is an action.
I still remember one memory of ours. I was in the SSG office when my mother called me to ask where I am. Well, I forgot o text her that I am in the office rushing something for tomorrows’ activity. My mother scolded me on the phone but Ma’am Giron get it and she talked to my mother. She explained to her and she told to her that nothing is to worry about because I am safe and I will get home soon. So my mother understands it. Thanks to Ma’am because she saved me from the armalite of my mother.
Ma’am Giron is really a patient teacher. Can you imagine she can works until11:00 in the eveni8ng inside the campus just to prepare an activity for the next day. And this last September, I was one of the delegates of the National Leadership Training for Student Government Officers and she was with us. She really acts not just a teacher but a mother as well. She looks after us and to repay her for everything, last September 7, 2009, it was her birthday. We bought a cake and a gift for her. She was surprised and we were so happy bonding together. At least for a moment we made her happy.
Well, that’s Mrs. Giron. I love her and I am thankful that she is my teacher, she is my Super Hero.

Yes to modern world. A sign of a new world. A world to be develops and industrializes. "Adapting to Diverse Science Culture for Development" Theories, scientific explanations and technologies is a sign of it. Because of these, our world had developed to the fullest.
It is not bad to develop and be riches as long as we know how to face the consequences of this adaptation of different science culture. It may help us for our future but it can destroy our mother nature. If only mother earth can talk. She can say that she is now in danger. Many of its natural resources is now endangered but still man don't know how to care of it. Even though they know that it is endangered, it seems that they do more illegal things for their personal interest
Adapting to diverse Science Culture is been a great help to our development. But as time goes on, we cannot deny that the one that help us to our development is the reason to our destruction. As we are to adapt to science culture, we are also to consider the "heartaches” of our Mother Nature. And let us save our nature.

As we all know, here in our country our national language is the Filipino language. Manuel L. Quezon fought for the triumph of the Filipino language. And he was named as the Father of National language.

From the place where he was born, the Baler, the Filipino language was used. In this place the Filipino language was patronized and it was spread in the whole archipelago. This language contributed much for us because through this language we, the Pilipino can easily understand each other. And through this we can avoid wars and misinterpretations. Where ever you go here in the Philippines just use this language and they can easily know that you are from this country. And always remember the saying of Dr. Jose Rizal "Na ang taong hindi marunong sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa malansang isda."So we should respect and be proud that we have our own language, the Filipino language, and we are from the Pearl of East.

Yes! Having a national language is useful so let us enrich the FILIPINO LANGUAGE and let us love it.

First quarter? Well for me I have so many experiences for this first quarter in school as a senior student. Many learning and dilemma I've encountered. But how did I make it?
As I entered the school on the first day I told to myself "I should make this year a very memorable and I will not waste my time, I will learn and discover more." And now the first grading periodical test is near and I asked to myself "What did I learn?" Well in our TLE subject I have learned more about internet. I now know the history of internet and its uses, about protocol and on how the Worldwide Web works. I have learned also the different American and Filipino pioneers of internet. And I've discovered that the language of internet is TCP/IP or the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol and it was made by Bob Khan and Vinton Cerf. I also learned more on how to use the search engine and its search terms. And lastly I learned the history of web log and its advantage to us students.
But as I learn and discover these learnings I have encountered problems and challenges. One is that it is hard to understand a topic if I will not concentrate in listening to our teacher while discussing I should prefer listening than copying. I admit I am not good in memorization so it is hard for me to memorize all the concepts. And I found hard doing our essays which will be post on our own blog but I tried my best to make it.
Yes! I made it through my initiative and determination to learn. I passed my requirements on time and I am now reviewing my notes every night. I have been more responsible and I managed my time.
And now my life still goes on. And I am hoping that I can maintain my grades until I graduate.

English is the universal language. It is the language that we can use to communicate with other countries. And Filipino is our national language here in Philippines.

These languages are very important especially to us, students because we are using this in learning our studies. In our school the English and Filipino Club are campaigning that we should speak in English or Filipino properly inside the campus. Through this campaign they can train students in speaking English and Filipino fluently. We should speak straight English and straight Filipino not "Taglish". Because we can never be learn if we will not speak it properly with kindness. We should use this two languages in our everyday life so that we can achieve our goals because if can speak it fluently many companies can hire us.qMost companies uow are requirinu their applicanus that they should good in speaking English. And as Filipino we should use our national language as a symbol of respect to our country.

There are so many reasons why we should speak English and Filipino properly. But we can only learn and train if we are speaking it with kindness. So let us help ourselves read books, learn and apply to our daily life.

diScipLinE of BODY and MIND!!!

Health is very important. It is the general condition of the body or mind. But how can we be so sure if our body is healthy?
Nowadays, there are diseases that Doctors could hardly find ways to threat those lifestyle diseases as they say: like Cancer, Diabetes, Hypertension, etc.. They are still experimenting or searching the best medicine to cure these diseases. But the best way to avoid these diseases is practice proper diet and exercise. Eat balance and nutritious foods like green and yellow vegetables. Fruits that are rich in vitamins and elements needed by our body.
It's July again and we are celebrating the Nutrition Month. The TLE department especially the STEP Club is sponsoring this celebration every year to encourage us students to join the different activities and remind us that we should take good care of our body and we should eat nutritious foods to prevent such diseases. This year's theme is "Wastong Nutrition Kailangan, Lifestyle Diseases Iwasan." Many activities were conducted during the Nutrition Month. These were Poster Slogan, Mural Painting, Cookfest, Foodfest, Nutri-Quiz and Nutri-Jingle. The aim of these activities are the same. They want to tell us that by joining such activities can help us to know what is good for us especially to our body.
Life so short, let's make the best of it. Prevent ourselves from lifestyle diseases. Let's put ourselves first to God, then discipline of body and mind.
